The new Amaze comes with a tagline, ‘Jeete Hain Shaan Se!’. It surely has the looks that one would like to be in a sedan. The strong characteristics along with the flaunty front fascia looking far better than the Dzire. One can safely say that the Dzire has got simplistic looks but Amaze is a sedan that one can flaunt. With the new iteration, the front, as well as the rear, looks bold. Moreover, there is not much difference in terms of design when we compare the Dzire to the ongoing Maruti Suzuki Swift. Still, the looks are subjective and I would like to hear your thoughts on this. Let us know in the comments section below.

Honda still offers a diesel option while Maruti Suzuki has ditched them since the dawn of BS6. In the petrol variants, both the cars offer similar performance but the Dzire takes the lead with the mileage known to be one of the best in the country. Honda engines are known for refinement, Maruti Suzuki’s engines aren’t less either.

You do get a diesel engine option in the Honda Amaze that is much more powerful and produces way more torque than the petrol counterpart. It also offers a better fuel mileage, though still similar to what Dzire offers with the petrol variant.

The major difference is seen in terms of transmission options. Both the sedans offer 5-speed manual transmission as standard. But, when it comes to automatic ones, the 2021 Honda Amaze offers you a CVT while Dzire has got an AMT. AMT has no flaws at all, especially the ones from Maruti are pretty good. But when compared to CVT, it still lacks a bit behind.
